Trained at the Attorney-Mediators Institute of Houston and at the Harvard Law School’s Negotiation Workshop, Mr. Whittemore has mediated numerous cases and has taught mediation and negotiation to a variety of organizations. Mr. Whittemore has for many years provided conflict management guidance as general counsel to businesses and not-for-profit organizations, and helped managements navigate the "coral reefs" of conflict to reach their objectives without litigation. He is a member of the Commercial Panel of Arbitrators for the Connecticut-based American Dispute Resolution Center (ADRC) with extensive ABA and ADRC training.
